Kenny L. Goodwin, 58, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, MO.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Kenny was born on January 29, 1958 in Kansas City, MO to Lowell & Yvonne (Thomas) Goodwin. He graduated from East High School in Kansas City, MO. He married Dianne (Lata) Goodwin on March 13, 1976 in Kansas City, MO, who survives of the home. Kenny was a Machinist and for the past 18 years, Kenny and Dianne have owned and operated KG Machining in Grain Valley, MO. In addition to spending time with his family and friends, Kenny enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Kenny is survived by his mother, Yvonne Goodwin of Lebanon, MO; wife, Dianne Goodwin of Odessa, MO; two sons, Jeremy Goodwin of Grain Valley, MO and Joshua Goodwin and wife Tamisha of Odessa, MO; four grandchildren, Cody Paxton, Dalton Goodwin, Chase Goodwin, and Brynlee Goodwin; two sisters, Sandra Logue and husband Mike of Springfield, MO and Tamara Lynch and husband Chris of St. Louis, MO; mother-in-law, Laura Lata of Grain Valley, MO and a brother-in-law, Eddie Lata and wife Karen of Kingsville, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Lowell Goodwin and his father-in-law, Bruno Lata.
