Paul Michael Schwartze, 56, of Odessa, Missouri passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington, MO. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. Second St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524, with Reverend Peter Savidge officiating. A Rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m., Friday, November 23, 2012 at the funeral home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2012 at the funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the Missouri Conservation. Burial will be in the Greenton Cemetery. www.ralphojones.com. Paul was born on March 29, 1956 in Kansas City, MO to Leonard Herman and Anna Marie (Larman) Schwartze. Paul has spent most of his life as an over the road professional truck driver, most recently working for HIT. On May 24, 2004 he was united in marriage to Julie Ann DeClue in New Orleans, Louisanna. Paul was a member of the St. George Catholic Church in Odessa. In Pauls spare time he liked tinkering on cars, being on his tractor working around the farm, old cars were hobbies of his, deer and turkey hunting and most of all being with his friends and family. In addition to his wife survivors include four children, James Leonard Schwartze and Chandra of Odessa, MO, Sarah Elizabeth Brown of Pacific, MO, Bryan Michael Schwartze and wife Megan of Odessa, MO and Christina I. Brown of Odessa, MO; three grandchildren, Carleigh Gamble, Natalie Schwartze and Bryce Schwartze; two brothers, Bob Schwartze and wife Iris, of Odessa, MO and Steve Schwartze of Odessa, MO; five sisters, Jeanne Wade and husband Jerry of Odessa, MO, Pat Durham and husband Dale of Odessa, MO, Joyce Schwartze of Odessa, MO, Beverley Thomsen and husband Harold of Robertsdale, Alabama and Margie Blucas and husband Pete of Springfield, MO; and many nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his parents.
