Kathryn "Kathy" Susanne Bayless

Kathryn “Kathy” Susanne (Ware) Bayless, 75, of Odessa, Missouri passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023, surrounded by her family.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2^nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524.  A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Mt Tabor Cemetery. 12507 Mt. Kathy was born March 5, 1948, in Alliance, Nebraska, to Roy “Pat” and Corrine (Kempf) Ware. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1966. Kathy was a hairstylist for many years working for various salons in the local area, then later worked for Twin Lakes Hospice in Warsaw. Kathy was united in marriage to Dave Bayless on August 6, 1966, in Odessa, Missouri. She was a member of St. George Catholic Church in Odessa and Saint Ann’s Catholic Church in Warsaw, MO. Along with spending time with family and friends, Kathy enjoyed fishing with her husband, and flowers.  

Kathy is survived by her husband, four grandchildren, Elaina Hickox, Nate Bayless, Sam Evert Bayless, and Issac Benjamin Bayless; three great grandchildren, Fischer Bayless, Gabriel Hickox, Briar Bayless, one sister Patricia Dorsey; one brother, Richard Ware, and many nieces, nephews, relative, and friends.  

Kathy was preceded by both of her parents, two children, Kimberly Sue, and Michael Aaron Bayless; and one brother, Robert Ware.
