Karen Ann Neher, 72 of Mayview, Missouri passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Oak Grove Nursing and Rehab in Oak Grove, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the Zion United Church of Christ, 105 N. Mary St., Mayview, MO 64071 with Reverend Kristin Aardema Faigh officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. Burial will be in the Zion United Church of Christ Cemetery in Mayview, MO. Memorials are suggested to Crossroads Hospice. Family and friends are invited to a fellowship dinner that will begin at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the Zion United Church of Christ fellowship hall.
Karen was born on July 10, 1943 in Independence, MO to Effee (Mesnard) Reicheneker. On June 19, 1964 she married Larry Neher in Mayview, MO who survives of the home. Karen was a homemaker. She was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ, Mayview Lion’s Club and the Higginsville Garden Club. In addition to spending time with her friends and family, Karen enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, hunting, cooking, playing cards and watching sports.
Karen is survived by her husband Larry of Mayview, MO and dear friend, Donna Fain of Oak Grove, MO and many other relatives and friends.
Karen was preceded in death by her mother.
