Karen Ilene Breedlove

Karen Ilene (Molder) Breedlove, 82, of Odessa, Missouri, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Anew Health Care in Odessa, Missouri surrounded by her family.

Karen was born on July 21, 1942, in Peoria, Illinois to Charles Bury and Vera Maxine (Sipes) Molder and adoptive father, Forest Molder. She graduated from West Port High School. Karen was united in marriage to Jack Breedlove on June 20, 2002, in Kansas City, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 14, 2017. Karen worked for many years at Truman Medical Center in data entry. Along with spending time with family especially her grandchildren, Karen enjoyed puzzles, word searches, scrapbooking, cake decorating, sewing and cross stitch. 

Karen is survived by a son Jeffery (April) Holmes of Bates City, MO; three grandchildren, Shelby (Nick) Townsend, Skyler (Callie) Holmes, and Gabby (Tylor Hankins) Holmes; seven great-grandchildren, Kellen Hankins, Kaine Townsend, Liam Townsend, Oliver Townsend, Samuel Hankins, Paxson Hankins, Brielle Hankins and one great grandchild on the way; one sister, Diane Faherty; and many relatives and friends. 

Karen was preceded in death by both her parents and adoptive father, along with her husband, Jack Breedlove, and one son, Martin Lee Sullivan.
