Judy (Kolster) Martin

Judy (Kolster) Martin, 76, of Lexington, Missouri, passed away on May 4, 2022, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility in Richmond, MO.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Friday, May 13, 2022, at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South St., Lexington, MO, 64067, 660-259-2245. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, May 13, 2022, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Lexington Track Team, Lexington Garden Club, or the Lexington Rotary Club. Judy was born on February 16, 1946, the first of four children born to Edward & Lucille Kolster. She graduated from Lexington High School in 1964. She married Jim Martin on December 21, 1969. Jim survives of the home. She is also survived by her two sons, Ted Martin and wife Leah of Dover, MO and Tim Martin and wife Kristin of Moss Point, Mississippi; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Barnes, Emma Martin, Lane Martin, Abby Martin, and Tucker Martin; one brother, Jerry Kolster and wife Rhonda of Pinehurst, North Carolina, one sister, Donna Shane and husband Cody of Richmond, MO; a sister-in-law, Paula Kolster of Lexington, MO; and many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Ed Kolster, two sisters-in-law, Becky Martin, and Sally Juhn; one brother-in-law, Bob Juhn; and a niece Amy Douglas.

Judy was baptized as an infant and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She was a Master Gardener. Judy loved her family and she loved to travel. She loved working in her yard and flowers, and it was reflected in the beauty of her home. Judy enjoyed the retail therapy trips with her sister, and she was instrumental in organizing the sister/cousin luncheons with Donna, Paula, Chyree, Cheryl, Norita, Pauline and Barb.
