Judy Marie (Davis) Finkemeier, 72, of Independence, Missouri formerly of Wellington, MO passed away Friday, April 14, 2017 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the St. Luke Evangelical Free Church, 700 W Hwy 224 Wellington, MO, 64097. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 17, 2017 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. Judy was born on December 30, 1944 in Wellington, MO to Ewing & Alice (Nadler) Davis. She graduated in 1963 from Wellington-Napoleon High School in Wellington, MO. On July 18, 1964 she married Bill Finkemeier in Wellington, MO. Bill preceded her in death on October 8, 2002. Judy was a member of the St. Luke Evangelical Free Church in Wellington. She retired from GEHA in June 2016 after 31 years of service as a Claims Adjuster. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Judy enjoyed sewing and reading.
Survivors include three daughters, Pam Easley and husband Randy of Orrick, MO, Crystal Woodward and husband Steve of Rincon, Georgia, and Sabrina Yasso and husband Tim of Lee’s Summit, MO; seven grandchildren, Patrick Woodward, Makayla Easley, Caitlin Woodward, Walker Easley, Colin Woodward, Sydney Yasso and Charlotte Yasso; two brothers, Glenn Davis of Bates City, MO and Larry Davis and wife Ruth of Wellington, MO; two sisters, Patricia Parr of Blue Springs, MO and Virginia Fanolio of Wellington, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
