Grace Ann Davis

Grace Ann Davis, 70, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013 at home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. Second St., Odessa, MO, 64076, (816) 633-5524. Grace was born on February 21, 1943 in Lansing, Michigan to William McKinley and Selma Mildred (Bellinger) DeVore. She was a graduate of Sexton High School in Lansing, MI. After high school she spent much of her time working toward a degree in Elementary Education. She attended Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa and later transferred to Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. Grace graduated from McConnell Airline School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. On September 4, 1964 she married Robert Lynn Davis in Lansing, MI. Robert and Grace gathered in from Algonac, MI in 2000. They are members of the Lexington Restoration Branch Church, in Lexington, MO. Grace was the Womens Leader for the church. Reading and craftwork were two of her favorite things to do in her spare time. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by husband Robert and by a son and daughter in law, William and Katherine Davis of Cookeville, Tennessee and three grandchildren, Courtney, Miranda and William Davis. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Martin Davis and a sister, Charlotte Blackburn.
