Joyce Marie Luehrs

Joyce Marie Luehrs, 65, of Lexington passed away June 21, 2021 at Centerpoint Medical Center, Independence, Missouri. Visitation will be Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 3:00 until 4:00 pm at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. A Celebration of Life will also be on Saturday at the the funeral home at 4:00 pm. Memorials may be made to the Friends of the Friendless. Joyce was born August 2, 1955 in Dyersburg, Tennessee to AJ and Mary (Bane) Weatherly. She worked in housekeeping at Lafayette Regional Health Center for many years. On August 13, 1994 she married John Luehrs. He preceded her in death April 4, 2021. Joyce enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Charla Ashby of Lexington, Jessica Krummel and husband Chad of Higginsville, Tera Earnest of Lexington and Janet Luehrs of Lexington; sisters, Brenda Walters of Pacific, Missouri, Linda Nelson of Pacific, Missouri and Judy Eberhardt and husband Scott of Ellisville, Missouri; brother, Bobby Weatherly of Pacific, Missouri; grandchildren, Christopher DeJonge, Landon Bell and fiancee Brandy Kraft, Shannon McCullough, Haley Ashby, Keely Ashby, Allyson Bell, Camryn Krummel, Stephen Coen and Elizabeth Day: and great grandchildren, Rucker, Olivia, Brenley and Kinslynn.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, Christopher Thomas Besand; and brothers, Jerry Weatherly and Bill Weatherly.
