Joshua Dale Stark, 25, of Holden, MO formerly of Odessa, MO passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. Second St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Caleb Michael Stark Scholarship Fund. Josh was born on March 7, 1988 in Warrensburg, MO to Robert Eugene Stark and Kimberly Sue (Miles) Reed. Josh graduated from Odessa High School in 2006. After high school he attended Universal Technical Institute for automotive mechanic training. Josh was currently employed as a Mechanic with Lotspeich Automotive in Warrensburg, MO. Josh’s hobbies include cars, fishing, karaoking, shooting pool, and hanging out with family and friends. Josh was always the life of the party.
Josh is survived by a son, Caleb Michael Stark of Holden, MO; his mother, Kim Reed of Springfield, MO, his father, Bob Stark and wife Laura of Holden, MO; two brothers, Hayden and Chance Stark of Holden, MO; a sister, Lacy Alonzo and husband Marcos of Kansas City, MO; maternal grandmother, Barbara Kuhlman and husband Larry of Shell Knob, MO and maternal grandfather, Larry Miles and wife Wanda of Blue Eye, MO; paternal grandmother, Karen Foley of Holden, MO; a nephew, Andrew Alonzo of Kansas City, MO; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Josh was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Sharon Stark and also a paternal grandfather, Ronnie Foley
