Jonna Lea Clark

Funeral services for 85 year old Jonna L. Clark of Lexington will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 11:00 at the Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. Visitation will be held from 10 am until service time. Burial will be in Machpelah Cemetery, Lexington. Memorials may be directed to the Lexington Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Clark died on Thursday, June 17 at Rosewood Health Center, Independence. Jonna Lea Sims was born on July 23, 1924 in Lexington, MO to John and Gertha McCorkendale Sims. She married Charles McGowan and they divorced and later on she married Sam Clark. Mr. Clark preceded Mrs. Clark in death. Mrs. Clark had been a homemaker. Survivors include her son: Donald McGowan of Independence. There are 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Ryland Sims and wife, Doris, Lexington. Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Marsha Kay Clark Peterson and a brother, David Sims
