John Milburn Peffer, 85, of Blue Springs passed away February 12, 2021 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Blue Springs. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Woodlawn Cemetery, Independence. John was born January 2, 1936 in Jackson County to William “Bill” and Zora (Jordan) Peffer. He graduated from Wellington High School and owned and operated liquor stores for many years.
John is survived by his son, Mike Peffer of Richmond; granddaughter, Johnelle Wollenburger; great grandchildren, Joel, Jacob and Jackson Ontiverous; niece, Carolyn Zillner and nephews, John Beard (Randy) and Jeff Beard. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Carol Cramer.
