Warren Leo McNeece, 72, of Odessa, Missouri passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 at St. Marys Hospital in Blue Springs, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 20, 2012 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. Second St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524 with Pastor Joe Smith and Pastor Sharon Smith officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Odessa City Cemetery with Military Rites. Warren Leo McNeece was born at home to Forrest J. and Virgileen McNeece on February 8, 1940. He resided in Odessa, MO until the age of 17 when he joined the Navy in 1957. The 4 Year military experience allowed him to travel completely around the world. Warren married Mary M. (See) McNeece on January 19, 1963 who survives of the home. They have 3 daughters and 1 son-in-law, Joie and David Bevill, Susan George and Candy McNeece, all of Warrensburg, MO. Warren has 3 granchildren, Melinda Kloeppel, Kyle George and wife Amanda, and Lena McNeece. He also leaves behind 1 great-grandchild Angel Bauder. Warren retired from the Pipe Fitters Union Local #533 in 2001. He was a wonderful husband, a loving father and a prankster to everyone that knew him. This world will not be the same without him, he will be greatly missed. Warren was preceded in death by his parents.
