Joan Stanley Goodloe

Joan Stanley Goodloe, 83, of Lexington, MO passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Lexington. Joan Stanley was born December 13, 1930 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Orville A. and Ruth Huddleston Stanley. She married George �Bill� Goodloe on September 27, 1953. Joan was primarily a homemaker but had been employed at Lexington Memorial Hospital in central supply and at Wentworth Military Academy as a cook. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. Joan is survived by children: Phyllis Kaullen (Rick), Lexington, Roger Goodloe (Kellie), Richmond, Tim Goodloe, Lexington, Doug Ambrose (Cheryl), Higginsville, and Allen Ambrose, Belton. A Brother, Guy Stanley, Higginsville and 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, on January 31, 1998, a great-grandchild, Courtney Iles, brothers: Arthur Stanley, Earl Stanley, and Gilbert Stanley, sisters, Elmira Stanley, Grace Cindrich, and Bernice Dellek. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South St., Lexington, MO 64067 (660) 259-2245. Burial in Machpelah Cemetery, Lexington.
