Brenlee MaKenna Gilbert, 11 weeks old, of Bates City, Missouri passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013 at Childrens Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2013 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. Second St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 24, 2013 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Odessa City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Childrens Mercy Hospital. Condolences for the family may be left at www.ralphojones.com. Brenlee was born on March 5, 2013 in Independence, MO to Alex Anthony Gilbert and Stephanie Ann Hicklin. She had big blue eyes and a very infectious smile. She was loved by many. In addition to her mother and father, Brenlee is survived by two brothers, Bentlee Bunn of Bates City, MO and Bryson Gilbert of Independence, MO; a sister, Baylee Bunn of Bates City, MO; maternal grandparents, John and Robin Hicklin; paternal grandparents, Particia Gilbert of Archie, MO and Steve & Julie Hernandez of Independence, MO; maternal great grandparent, Bobbie Williams of Odessa, MO; paternal great grandparent, Lois Hicklin of Bates City, MO; Uncles, John Hicklin, Jr. of Bates City, MO, Scott Hicklin of Bates City, MO; Cousins, Scott Hicklin, Jr. Parker Hicklin and Rylee Hicklin. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Kissie Williams; maternal grandfather Norman Hicklin and paternal uncle Marcos Gilbert
