Jimmie D. Duncan

Jimmie D. Duncan, 89, of Lexington passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Higginsville City Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. at 11:00 am. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ or the donors choice Jimmie Donald Duncan was born on March 4, 1925 in Lexington, Mo to William and Edna Wealot Duncan. Jimmie had worked on the Railroad and for 13 years had worked at Gassen Electric. Jimmie Duncan married Lillian Edna Smith on December 15, 1967 in Lexington, MO. She preceded him in death on April 9, 1990. Survivors include 3 step children, Carol Hall, Jim Lockhart, Robert Lefman all of Independence, MO. Also surviving are two nieces, Mrs. Patsy Olvera and Husband, Johnie, Lexington and Connie Wyse and husband, Glen, Buckner, and many nieces, nephews & cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 4 step children, Raymond, Janice, Alvin & Denise. He was also preceded in death by 7 brothers, Cleve Clifton, William, Charles, Frederick, Patrick, Roy and two sisters, Helen Lynn and Betty Alkire
