Jessie “Loveedah” (Braxdale) Nadler, 87 of Lexington, Missouri passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO.

 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South St., Lexington, MO, 64067, 660-259-2245. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Luke Cemetery in Wellington, MO. Memorials are suggested to Trinity United Church of Christ or Shriner’s Hospitals for Children. Loveedah was born on October 7, 1937, in Lafayette County, MO to Clyde and Ada Lee (Ford) Braxdale. She graduated in 1955 from Wellington High School in Wellington, MO. On November 6, 1971, Loveedah was united in marriage to Kenneth Nadler at Trinity United Church of Christ in Lexington, MO. Loveedah devoted many years to serving the citizens of Lafayette County. She worked many years for the Lafayette County Collector and served four terms as the Lafayette County Collector totaling 31 years of service. Loveedah was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, the Garden Club, and the Women’s Club. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Loveedah enjoyed gardening and going to the lake. 

 

Loveedah is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Kenneth Nadler of Lexington, MO; a son, John Michael Peffer of Richmond, MO; a granddaughter, Johnelle Loveedah Peffer-Wollenberg and husband Jerry of Waverly, MO; three great grandchildren, Joel, Jacob, and Jackson Ontiveros; and three great-great grandchildren, Ayda Mae Ontiveros, Emerlynn Rose Ontiveros, and Asher Dever Kuntz Ontiveros; and many relatives and friends. 

 

Loveedah was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, J.L. Braxdale.
