Jessica Gay McCollum, 73, of Blue Springs, MO passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Truman Medical Center East, in Kansas City, MO.

Jessica was born on July 30, 1948, in San Antonio, Texas to B.E. and Gaylord Kay (Turnbull) McCollum. She graduated from Alamo Heights High School. Jessica was Christian by faith. She retired after 20 years of service from Truman Medical Center East, Central Supply. Jessica was part of the Choctaw Nation and served on the Tribal Role. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Jessica loved cooking and most of all being with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Daryle Joe Culbertson of Blue Springs, MO; three children, Maxwell Turner and wife Jane of Riverton, Illinois, Portia Welch and husband John of Mt. Clare, West Virginia, and Joseph McCollum and wife Melanie of Grain Valley, MO; nine grandchildren, Michaela Millican, Joseph McCollum, Jr., Maxwell Turner, Bryttnie Morrow, Maxwell Moore, Sasha Turner, Raymond Bowen, Cameron White, and Dreagyn White.
In addition to her parents, Jessica was preceded in death by a grandson, C.T. Turner.
