Jesse C. Tankesley, 90, of Kansas City, MO passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at North Kansas City Hospital. Jesse Tankesley was born January 5, 1925 in Higginsville, MO to Carl and Bertha Weaver Tankesley. He married Constance J. Beretta in August of 1947. Jesse was a paint superintendent for 30 years at General Motors. He was member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and an Army Veteran of WWII. Jesse is survived by his children: Mark Tankesley and wife, Lynn, Kansas City, MO and Carroll Stadlman and husband, Rolle, Chillicothe, MO. A brother, Ivan Tankesley, Higginsville, MO. Grandchildren: Kerry Tankesley, Kyle Tankesley, Jennifer Roark, Michael Wilson, Carissa DeAnde and Ryan Stadlman. There are 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, a son, Michael, and a brother, Earl. Graveside services will be 12 p.m., Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lexington. There will be a visitation from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m., Sunday at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington, MO. (660) 259-2245. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
