Jerry Eggert

Jerry Eggert, 60, of Wellington, Missouri, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri surrounded by his loving family.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm., Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 South Second Street, Odessa, Missouri 64076. Jerry was born January 24, 1963, to Earl Leonard and Judy Ann (Arndt) Eggert. Jerry attended Odessa High School, Class of 1981.  Jerry spent 18 years as a truck driver, and owned his own trucking company, Chase Enterprises, LLC. He was a member of the Odessa Restoration Branch. Along with spending time with his family and friends, Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, Chiefs football and restoring vehicles.

Jerry is survived by two children, Crystal Andrist and husband Isaac of Odessa, MO and Clayton Brune-Eggert of Lees Summit, MO; two grandchildren, Chase and Cora Andrist; two sisters, Susan Flandermeyer of Concordia, MO, Teresa Johnson of  Flemingsburg, KY; one brother, Donald Eggert of Leeton, MO, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by both his parents.
