Jerrica Lynn (Buis) Coin, 39, of Centerview, MO passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022, at the Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg, MO.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, 12507 Mt. Tabor Rd., Odessa, MO, 64076. Interment will be in the Odessa Cemetery in Odessa, MO. Memorials are suggested to the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church or the Old Drum Animal Shelter in Warrensburg, MO. Jerrica was born on June 19, 1982, in Independence, MO to Jerry A. and Janet S. (Snyder) Buis. She graduated in 2000 from Odessa High School in Odessa, MO. Jerrica attended Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church. After high school Jerrica worked for DST, Children’s Mercy Hospitals, Midwest Eye and was currently working at Meyer Care Center in Higginsville, MO. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Jerrica loved watching Chiefs Football and her favorite player Travis Kelce, cooking, singing, gardening, hiking adventures, and shopping for a good bargain. Jerrica loved life in every way, she was all about spending time with the loves of her life, her children. Family and Friends were everything.
Jerrica is survived by her parents, Jerry and Janet Buis of Odessa, MO; two children, Tommy Coin and Gracyn Coin both of Lone Jack, MO; paternal grandfather, James B. Barker of Odessa, MO and maternal grandmother, June Snyder of Odessa, MO; two sisters, Angela Hardy of Warrensburg, MO and Ashley Herbert and husband Damien of Jber, Alaska; nieces and nephews, Elisie Holden and husband Billy, Delaney, Lucas, Ben, Conrad, Trevor Herbert of Jber, AK and a great nephew, David Holden; and many extended family and friends.
Jerrica was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Doris Barker and maternal grandfather, Walt Snyder; two uncles, Doug Snyder, and Jimmy Barker.
