Jennifer Lynn Sisk-Ritz

Jennifer Lynn Sisk-Ritz, 43, of Odessa passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2023, at Northcare Hospice House in Kansas City.

Visitation will be Friday, November 24 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to the Friends of the Friendless. Jennifer was born April 10, 1980, in Independence, Missouri to Gary and Gloria (Brisbin) Sisk.  She was united in marriage to Cody Ritz on August 3, 2017, in Lexington. Jennifer had many interests and activities.  She was an avid artist and painter and won the art competition at Richmond Morell Days.  She was very active with the Kansas City Renaissance Festival, where she played a “Merry Widow”.  Jennifer worked as a florist and was a member of Lexington First Assembly of God church.  She was a member of the International Betta congress and was the 2013 Grand Champion breeder of Betta Fish.  She was also devoted to Tum Tums, the cat that she rescued.

Jennifer is survived by her husband, Cody; her daughter, Gabbrielle Ritz of Wichita, Kansas; her parents, Gary and Gloria Sisk; siblings, Jason (Kelly) Sisk, Jeanie Sisk, Jared Sisk, Justin Sisk, Joe (Zeidie) Sisk, Jeremiah (Michelle) Sisk, Jarell (Melissa) Sisk, Jariah (Kely) Sisk, Jessica Sisk, Jarissa Sisk, Jarett (Destiny) Sisk, Jeren (Mary) Sisk, Jasmine (Daniel) Rollins; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cleo and Edith Sisk and Melvin and Betty Brisbin.
