Jeffrey Paul Pollard

Jeffrey Paul "Cactus" Pollard, 56, of Odessa, passed away September 11, 2018 at his home. Funeral service will be Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 11:00 am at Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South Street, Lexington. Visitation will also be at the funeral home on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Lexington Memory Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Cactus was born July 30, 1962 in Lexington to John Robert Pollard, Sr. and Mary Ursula (McNally) Pollard. He graduated from Lexington High School in 1980. He currently worked for Price Chopper in the meat department as a pit master. Prior to Price Chopper he worked for 13 years at Lake City. Cactus enjoyed fishing, sports, bar-be-que and spending time with friends.

Cactus is survived by his siblings, John Pollard, Jr. and wife Lori of Lee's Summit, Judy Liese and husband Doug of Lexington, Susan Rukavina and husband Mark of Wellington and Lola Spencer and husband Todd of Oak Grove; nieces and nephews, Geoff Pollard, James Bloom, Alex Bennett, Cosette Spencer, John Pollard, III, Joseph Rukavina and Joel Spencer; and great nephews, Hendrick James and Nolan Lee Bloom. He was preceded in death by his parents.
