Janie May Coen, 70, Higginsville, MO. passed away at her home on Saturday, April 12, 2014. Funeral services for Mrs. Coen will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 3 P.M. at the Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Machplelah Cemetery, Lexington. Memorials may be made to the Susan J. Komen Fund. Janie May Stratton was born on July 9, 1943 in Waverly, MO to Willis H. and Florence E. Roberts Stratton. She married Leonard Coen on July 27, 1979 in Oklahoma. Mrs. Coen had worked as a seamstress at the Higginsville Garment Factory. Survivors include her husband, Leonard, of the home, her three children, Connie Jungeblut, Knob Noster, Robin Reid, Knob Noster, and Donald Moore III and wife, Jenifer, Ellsinore, MO. There are 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Additional survivors include her brothers, Bob Stratton, Washington, Willis Stratton, Eldorado Springs, MO, John Stratton Indiana, Michael Stratton, Richmond, MO. and a sister, Linda Kann, Washington. Mrs. Coen was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers Jimmy Stratton and Tom Stratton. Arrangements: Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington, Mo 64067 660-259-2245
