Janet Louise Wilt, 74, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015 at the Golden Living Center in Odessa, MO surrounded by family.

Janet was born on December 26, 1940 in Hillview, Illinois to Fletcher Edwin and Josephine (Newingham) Lawson. On June 12, 1996 she was married to Forrest F. Wilt in Ft. Myers, Florida and he preceded her in death on April 3, 2011. Before moving to Odessa, Janet worked as a private caregiver for homebound patients while living in Florida. In addition to spending time with her family and friends her hobbies included sewing and reading.
Survivors include two children, Kathy Murry and husband Don of Odessa, MO and Scott Fletcher Caulfield and wife Nichole of Bridgman, Michigan; seven grandchildren, Justin and Brian Murry and Marla, Brandon, Logan, Stephanie and Stephen Caulfield; three great grandchildren, Madalyn, Jackson and Brooklyn Murry; two brothers and two sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Janet was preceded in death by a son, Irven Allen May, Jr., two brothers and four sisters.
