Janet Kay Myers (McIntyre), 61, of St. Petersburg, Florida, formerly of Odessa, MO, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021, at Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida.
The family will host a visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Crossway Bible Church, 701 NW Woods Chapel Rd., Blue Springs, MO 64015. A memorial service will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the church. An inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Bethel Baptist Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ralph O. Janet was born on February 15, 1960, in Independence, MO to Don and Darlene (Lingenfelter) Myers. She graduated from Fort Osage High School in 1978. Janet was a homemaker. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Independence, MO. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Janet enjoyed playing the piano, shopping, and crocheting.
Survivors include her father, Don of St. Petersburg, FL.; three daughters, Tiffany Nash (Michael) of Blue Springs, MO, Amanda McIntyre (Russell) of Independence, MO, and Lacey Smith (Robby) of Independence, MO; ten grandchildren, Lucy, Nate, Tristian, Liam, Keely, Ryden, Khloe, Jaxson, Julius, Jasen; a great grandchild, Leah; a brother, Paul Myers (Judy) of Tennessee; and many relatives and friends.
Janet was preceded in death by her mother; a sister in infancy, Malayia Dawn Myers; and two grandsons, Nicholas and Maverick.
