Hubert Dale Bowlin, 92, of Odessa, Missouri passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the Apple Ridge Care Center in Waverly, Missouri. Memorial graveside services will be held at 10:00a.m., Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Odessa City Cemetery, in Odessa, MO, with Reverend Terry Hodges officiating. Hubert was born December 19, 1919 to John Henry and Martha Pauline (Crouch) Bowlin in Odessa, MO. On August 14, 1942 he married Eugenia "June" Kathleen Kelly who preceded him in death on February 3, 2012. They were members of the First Baptist Church of Odessa. He worked at Lake City Arsenal and then for Wilson Meat Packing Co., retiring in 1977. After retirement he spent his time raising pure bred hogs, cattle and chickens. He enjoyed spending time with his family, taking care of his yard, gardening, and visiting with his neighbors. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Linda Carol Burney of Odessa; three grandchildren, Eric Dale Bowlin of Odessa, Troy Dale Bowlin of Odessa and Carrie Lynn Halliburton and husband Joshua of Branson, MO; four great-grandchildren, Max Tyler Royston, Matthew Halliburton, Nathaniel Halliburton and Nicholas Halliburton; a brother-in-law, Jack Rufus Kelly of Blue Springs, MO. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a son, James Dale Bowlin and a brother, John Doyle Bowlin.
