James Riley Osborn, 71, of Lexington Missouri passed peacefully at his home Saturday, June 27, 2020.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Memory Garden Cemetery, Lexington, Missouri at 11:00 am. Services have been entrusted to Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South Street, Lexington, Missouri 64067, 660-259-2245. In Lieu of food and flowers memorials in Riley’s name are suggested to Lafayette Regional Health Center Heart Memory Wall or to the Wentworth Museum where Riley was a student and his parents worked. Riley worked at Research Medical Center for 14 years, Lafayette Regional Health Center for 20 years and Wentworth Military academy for 2 years. He served as a Maintenance Engineer, Director of Plant Operations and the Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds. Riley was a member of Operating Engineers Local 101 and a member of the ‘Cops and Robbers’ poker club.
Riley is survived by his wife of 26 years, Dona Osborn, children: Paul Osborn of Lexington, MO; Dawn Chambers of Lexington, MO; Erik Osborn (Angela) of Jefferson City, MO; Kristi Roach (James) Lexington, MO and Sandra Greene (Jeff) of Sedalia, MO as well as 8 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and brother, David Osborn (Nancy) of Overland Park, Kansas.
