James D. Knott, 69, Lexington, MO passed away at St. Mary's Hospital, Blue Springs, Mo on Friday, February 1, 2019. Memorial Mass for Jim will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lexington. Inurnment will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Friends of the Friendless Animal Shelter, Lexington.
James Douglas Knott was born on July 13, 1949 in Carrollton, MO. to Herbert and Opal Findley Knott.
Jim attended St. Mary's Catholic School, Carrollton. Jim had a Bachelor's Degree from UMKC in Business. Jim had been the street commissioner in Lexington for many years. Jim was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lexington.
Survivors include his children, Matthew Knott, Blue Springs, Jennifer Moss, Kansas City, Christina Knott and Emilee Knott, Blue Springs, MO. Jim has one grandchild and a surviving cousin, Lynn Jackson Brown, Leesburg, VA. Jim was preceded in death by his parents.
