James "Jim" Anthony Ruehter

James Anthony Ruehter, 83, Lexington passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022. Jim was born on November 2, 1939 in Lexington to George and Julia Ruehter. He married Bonnie Wrisinger on October 24, 1964 in Lexington, MO. Jim worked his entire life as a farmer. 

Jim is survived by three children, Bert A. Ruehter and wife, Patti, LaMonte, MO; Mark A. Ruehter and wife, Valerie, Smithville, MO; Bobbi Kay and husband, Chris Sidor, Decatur, GA. There are six grandchildren, Lisa (Adam Hellman), Jessica (Levi Riley), Brett, Paige, Zain, Myla and a great granddaughter, Sophia.

The family will hold an open house at Vetter’s Place in Higginsville on December 14, from 3-7pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to the Drumm Farm Center for Children.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 S.
