James Fredrick Jackson, Jr.

James “Jim” Fredrick Jackson, Jr., 69, of Oak Grove, Missouri passed away Monday, September 25, 2023, at his residence in Oak Grove, MO.

Jim was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on December 28, 1953, to Fred and Frances (Beard) Jackson, Sr. He graduated from Wahoo High School in Nebraska. Jim honorably served in the United States Army for three years as an aircraft mechanic. He spent the majority of his working life installing and selling garage doors and windows. Along with spending time with family, Jim enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends, family, and grandkids. He was also an avid Kansas City Chiefs Fan and loved watching sports. 

Jim is survived by two children, Robert (Katherine) Jackson of Odessa, MO, and Jordan (Z.J.) Beeding of Jeffersonville, IN; five grandchildren, James Jackson, Addalyn Beeding, Liam Jackson, Gryffen Beeding and Wesley Jackson, one sister Arlene (Rich) Harrison of York, NE; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.    

Along with both his parents, Jim was preceded in death by two sisters, Fonda Crowder and Marlene McCullough; and one brother Lee Beard.
