Jacqueline “Jacqui” Gayle Coy, 52 of Odessa, Missouri formerly of Foley, Alabama passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Spring Missouri.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. Second St., Odessa MO, 64076, 816-633-5524, with Reverend David Howie officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Greenton Cemetery, Odessa. Memorials are suggested to Lafayette County Cancer Coalition, Southern Baptist Children’s Home, or to City Union Mission. Jacqui was born on March 18, 1962 in Holden, MO, to Ronald J. LaMatry and Mary Jane (Wilson) DeAtley. On January 1, 1993 she married Clifford T. Coy in Odessa, MO. She was involved in the American Legion Post 44. She loved spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies include crafts and volunteer work. Jacqui was in the process of writing a book that was awaiting publishing. She was currently enrolled at the University of Phoenix and was studying Psychology. Jacqui had a great respect for a well-known psychologist in the Foley area and was currently mentoring within his practice.

Survivors include her husband, Clifford T. Coy of Odessa, MO, mother, Mary Jane DeAtley of Odessa, MO; four children, Jason Ostermeyer and wife Carrie of Blairstown, MO, Christy Brozovich and husband Jeremy of Lone Jack, MO, Christopher Kirk of Odessa, MO, and Cliff Coy of Key Largo FL; one brother, Kevin DeAtley and wife Janna of Hesteria California; two sisters, Rhonda Smith and husband Neil of Odessa, MO, Sandy Hon and husband Dennis of Odessa, MO; seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, Jacqui was preceded in death by two brothers, Leo LaMatry and Roger DeAtley and her dad, Dale DeAtley.
