Jaclyn Grace (Russell) Burkhart, 32 of Blue Springs, Missouri formerly of Odessa, MO passed away on January 29, 2018 in Kansas City, MO.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 5, 2018 at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the children’s education fund in care of Shaun Burkhart. Jaclyn was born on February 5, 1985 in Warrensburg, MO to James Steven Russell and Carolyn Sue (Dennis) Russell. She graduated from Blue Springs High school in 2004. April 20, 2013 she married Shaun Ryann Burkhart in Bates City, MO. Jaclyn and Shaun have been together for 20 years. Jaclyn was currently working as a front office supervisor for Molly Maids in Blue Springs, MO. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bates City, MO. In addition to spending time with her family and friends she enjoyed art, writing books and poems.

Survivors include her husband, Shaun Ryann Burkhart of Blue springs, MO; two daughters, Emily Lynn Renee Burkhart and Ella Louise Sue Burkhart, both of Blue Springs, MO; mother and step-father, Carolyn Sue (Dennis) Carlton and husband Terry of Independence, MO and father, James Steven Russell of Blue Springs, MO; a brother, Jason Russell and wife Holly of Ankeny, IA; a sister, Mandy Russell of Lee’s Summit, MO; paternal grandfather, Forrest Russell of Kansas City, MO; mother-in-law, Tammy Burkhart and companion Michael Cates of Bates City, MO and father-in-law, David Burkhart and wife Rose of Collins, MO; sister-in-law, Michelle Burkhart of Blue Springs, MO; and many nieces and nephews.

Jaclyn was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Donald and Shirley Dennis and paternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Sue and Bill Reynolds.
