Humberto “Bert” Gallardo, 77 of Lexington, Missouri passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023, at Good Shepherd Care Community in Concordia, Missouri surrounded by his loving family.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 S. St., Lexington, MO, 64067, 660-259-2245. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Friends of the Friendless, Parkinson’s Foundation, American Diabetes Association, Heart of America Alzheimer’s Association. Bert was born on May 2, 1946, in Nyssa, OR to Humberto Jose and Atonia (Cortez) Gallardo. He graduated in 1966 from Manuel High School in Kansas City, MO. Bert retired from Higginsville Habilitation Center. On May 17, 1997, he was united in marriage to Helen Earlene (Nash) Gallardo in Humansville, Missouri. He attended Assembly of God church in Lexington, MO. In addition to spending time with friends, Bert enjoyed watching old western movies and was a movie buff. He was an avid music and sports fan, especially baseball.
Bert is survived by his wife, Helen Gallardo; four children, Angela (Craig) Mansfield of Land O Lakes, WI, Humberto A. (Tiffany) Gallardo Jr. of Belton, MO, Patrick (Stephanie) Bledsoe of Boliver, MO, and Paula (Randy) Stumph of Kansas City, KS; twelve grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren; one sister, Minerva Terreros; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Bert was preceded in death by four brothers, Arthur Gallardo, Richard Gallardo, Alfred Gallardo, and Edward Gallardo.
