Helen Lucille Clark, 94, of Lexington passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at her home in Lexington, Mo. Graveside services for Helen will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville with military honors. There will be no visitation. Memorial may be made to Chief Joe Bunch, R.R. #4,box 2550, Stillwell, OK. 74960
Helen Chapman was born on January 29, 1922 in Kansas City, MO to Alonzo and Bertha Wootrone Chapman. She was an Navy Veteran. She married Robert Clark and he preceded her in death. Helen had worked and retired from the Social Security Department. Helen had received many awards include an award from the K.C. Veterans Hospital for over 10,000 hours of volunteer service.
Survivors include her companion, Vernon Sperry, of the home, two children, several grandchildren, many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
