Harrison Dean Arnold

Harrison Dean Arnold was born to Brandon and Kate Arnold in Kansas City, Missouri on Friday, July 9th, 2021. He was the happiest and most precious baby. Harrison had the sweetest smile and was the epitome of love and laughter, bringing joy to everyone around him.

Harrison loved his brothers Bennett and Graham, they were best of friends. He adored spending time outside on the driveway or being anywhere they were, always keeping up with whatever they were doing. 

Harrison was a 3 time cancer fighter, tenaciously battling Rhabdomyosarcoma for 476 days with a smile on his face. He spent many days riding the halls of 4 Henson at Children’s Mercy in any car he could find, making the staff smile and only stopping to give one of the best hugs or to grab a favorite popsicle from the freezer.  His mother will always cherish memories of hours spent snuggling in the hospital recliner and of Harrison taking a large slice of the tiny parent bed. The family is forever grateful for the doctors, nurses, and support staff who lovingly cared for Harrison, always ensuring he was comfortable and happy. 

Harrison passed peacefully in his home onto the next life on Friday, March 8th snuggled in the arms of his mother. Thanks to our Savior, Jesus Christ his family looks forward to being reunited with him again. 

Harrison is survived by his parents, Brandon and Kate, his brothers Bennett and Graham, as well as grandparents, aunts, uncles and many cousins who cherish and love him dearly. 

A Visitation reception will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Saturday, April 6^th, 2024, at Lee’s Summit Christian Church, 800 NE Tudor Rd., Lee’s Summit, MO, 64086. A Celebration of Life to follow at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, April 6th, 2024, at the church.   In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Give Kids the World Village in Harrison’s honor.
