Harold Seymour Watson, 81, of Lexington, formerly of Odessa, passed away July 11, 2019 at St. Luke North Hospital. The family will host a Visitation on Monday, July 22, 2019 at the Community of Christ Church, Odessa from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life will start at 11:00 am at the church. Harold was born May 15, 1938 in Independence to Seymour and Elizabeth (Ross) Watson. He graduated from Northeast High School in Kansas City, Missouri. He worked for many years as a salesman at US Motors and Peerless Pumps. He then worked as an IT consultant for many companies. He was an avid supporter and salesman of Shaklee food supplements and healthy living. His favorite job was working at Patricia’s Grocery Store where he was a constant source of happiness and laughter to all. Harold married Patricia “Patty” Yocum in June of 1959. He was an Eagle Scout and a Mason and enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
Harold was an avid Chiefs and Royals fan. His absolute favorite thing in life was to be around his family. Holidays, birthday parties, sporting events, he was at them all. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church and served as a Deacon.
Harold is survived by his wife, of the home; children, Lorraine Watson of Odessa and Greg Watson and wife Tammy of Lexington; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; and sister, Peggy Smith and husband Pat of Independence. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Marnae Warren and Tonya Chance.
