Georgia “Faye” (Bedsaul) Steelman, 87 of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at the Lutheran Good Shepherd Home in Concordia, MO.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, 12507 Mt. Tabor Rd., Odessa, MO, 64076. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the church. Burial will be in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Mt. Faye was born on October 18, 1930 in Holden, MO to George Louis and Louise (Haynes) Bedsaul. She graduated in 1950 from Holden High School. She married Gordon Franklin Steelman on December 8, 1951 in Warrensburg, MO. He preceded her in death on January 1, 2008. Faye was a homemaker, she spent most of her days taking care of her family and working on the family farm. She was a member of the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Faye enjoyed cooking.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ann Crawford and husband Bill of Odessa, MO; two granddaughters, Winter Bell of Kansas City, MO and Charlie Brown and husband Sean of Odessa, MO; a great granddaughter, Scarlett Brown; and a sister, Leona Droege and husband Marion of Warrensburg, MO.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
