Georgia L. Hildebrand Shaw of Springfield, Mo., formerly of Wellington, Mo died on September 11, 2017 of complications from Parkinson's disease. Funeral services will be held at the Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral home 11:30 am on Saturday September 16, 2017. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 16 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Machpelah Cemetery, Lexington, MO. Memorial donations may be given to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation,
Georgia L. Hildebrand was born on July 31, 1930 in Sibley, MO to the union of Theodore Hildebrand and Ila Lorene Benson. She was a graduate of the former Levasy High School. She married Lloyd Everette Shaw on May 21,1948. The Shaw's raised their family in Levasy, Mo. Children gave Georgia great pleasure and she was a leader of Camp Fire Girls. After retirement she and Everette moved to Wellington, Mo. She had a deep love of nature and especially enjoyed bird watching. Early in her life, she was employed by Whitaker Cable in Lexington , Mo. In retirement, she was employed by Countryside Restaurant in Odessa, Mo. In her position as a hostess, she enjoyed interactions with former friends and acquaintances.
Mrs. Shaw is survived by her children, Lloyd Shaw Jr.(Carol), Linda Shaw Beatty (Stan),Kathie Shaw Taggart, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her brother, William, and her sister, Virginia.
