Graveside funeral services for Kenneth E. Baskett , 49 of Kansas City, Mo will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Odessa Cemetery. Visitation for Kenneth will be held from 1 pm until 1;45 pm at Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 South Second Street, Odessa. There will be a 2:00 pm graveside service and burial will be in the Odessa Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Mr. Baskett died on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Lafayette Regional Health Center, Lexington, Mo. Kenneth Everett Baskett was born on March 6, 1963 at Denver City, TX; to Jerry and Mary Helen Baskett. Kenneth had worked in the oil fields of Texas and later moved to Kansas City, Mo. Survivors include his mother, Mary Helen Holt, Odessa, his father Jerry Everett Baskett, Gardendale, TX. Additional survivors include his sister, Karen Corbett, Odessa, a half-sister, Reba Baskett, Tennessee, a brother, Keith Holt and wife Renee, Odessa, his paternal grandmother Helen Adams, Odessa. There are several nieces and nephews, Jaclyn Krouse, Clint Corbett, Nathan Holt and Nick Holt his uncles, Jr. Adams and Ray Adams, both of Odessa. Kenneth was preceded in death by his step father, Harold Holt.
