Georgia F. Brandel, 87, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the Odessa Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Odessa Senior Center Building Board. Georgia was born on February 15, 1927 in Spickard, MO to George W. and Lela Faye (Stamper) Griffin. After graduating high school she worked as a Beauty Operator for 25 years in Kansas City, Kansas. Georgia returned to work for Corn’s Apple Market in Oak Grove, MO. She has lived in Odessa, MO for the last eight years. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, her hobbies include crocheting, gardening and spending time outdoors.
Survivors include her companion of the last eight years, Harold Ewbank of Odessa; two children, Richard Darrell Roe and Bonnie Susan Brown; three grandchildren, Kristina Horton and husband Tim, Tori Fehling and husband Danny and Bradley Brown; four great grandchildren, Raylyn and Trent Horton, and Madison and Delayna Fehling; and a sister, Lucille Rorebeck.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gordon and Dick Rorebeck and a sister, Bessie Rorebeck.
