Genevieve Joan Iles, 77, of Lexington, Missouri, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at her home. Services for Genevieve will be at 2:30pm, Monday, January 9, 2017 at Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. Burial will be at Lexington Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:30pm, prior to the service, also at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Preferred Hospice or Alzheimer�s Research.
Genevieve was born August 27, 1939 in Leon, Iowa, the daughter of Virgil Dale and Florence Mae McDaniel Simpson. She married Robert Henry Iles on October 12, 1962 in Independence, Missouri. Genevieve was a homemaker most of her life and had been a member of the RLDS Church.
Genevieve is survived by her husband, of the home; her four children, Pam Morgan, Higginsville, Richard Iles, Lexington, Steven Iles, Lexington and Roger Iles, Higginsville; ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren; four brothers, Ronald Simpson, Lamoni, IA, Kenneth Simpson, Cameron, Fred Simpson, Davis City, IA, Darrell Simpson, Lamoni, IA, Independence; four sisters, Janice Williams, Kathryn Kline, Ferryl Simpson and Barbara Silver, all of Independence.
