Funeral services for Fred E. Corum,72, of Lexington will be held on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1 pm until service time on Monday. Burial will be in Memory Gardens. Mr. Corum died on Friday, January 27, 2012 at his residence. Memorials may be made to Lafayette County Cancer Coalition. Fred Eugene Corum was born on June 13, 1939 in Kearney, MO; to Alfred M. and Blanche Guthrie Corum. He married Beverly Davidson on September 26, 1959 in Lexington. Mr. Corum was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lexington. Mr. Corum had retired from G.M. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and had been a scout leader for the tribe of Mic-A-Say, Lexington. Survivors include his wife, Beverly of the home, a daughter Pebble Jane Van Der Feltz and husband, Rodney, Lexington and a son, Brian Keith Corum and wife Janelle, Bates City, Mo. There are 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Additional survivors include two sisters, Blanche Beckman, Wellington and Sadie Penniston, Richmond. Mr. Corum was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
