Frank Wesley Neece

October 24, 1935 — August 17, 2011

Frank W. Neece, 75, passed away August 17, 2011 at the Veterans Hospital, Topeka, Kansas. He was born and raised in Lexington, Missouri. He was an outdoorsman, with a love for sports, hunting and fishing. Mr. Neece was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, having enlisted in 1954. Being a disabled Veteran, he was a long-term resident of the VA Hospital in Topeka. Survivors include two brothers: Thomas Neece, Lexington and George Neece, Liberty. Four sisters: Dorothy Sloan, Lee's Summit, Mae Johnson, Arlington, VA, Margaret Grechus, Red Bank, NJ and Dollie Walters, Palm City, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joseph. On Monday, August 22, 2011, visitation will be from 1-2 PM, with services following at Walker-Nadler -Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South Street, Lexington. Interment at Machpelah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations may be made to the Frank Neece VA Hospital Memorial, 2200 Gage Blvd. S.W., Bldg. 24, Topeka, KS 66622. A memorial service will be held at the VA Hospital, Topeka, KS on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the Atrium, Bldg. 4.
