Frank Richard Okorn, 82, of Napoleon passed away February 8, 2021 at his home.
There will be a memorial service Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. Visitation will also be on Saturday at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Richard was born January 24, 1939 in Osawatomie, Kansas to Frank and Betty Jeanne (Absher) Okorn. He graduated from Central High School in Independence. He was Christian by faith and practiced Anthroposophy. Richard was a bio-dynamic farmer. He raised row crops, cattle, fruit trees and honey bees. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and planting trees. He also enjoyed studying entomology and Bible translations and educating children.
Survivors include his children; Ash Okorn and wife Connie of Napoleon and Camilla Marble and husband Kenny of Lone Jack; grandchildren, Serea Cayton, Christopher Watson, Austin James Okorn and Ashley Anne Okorn; step grandchildren, Corey Wade Myers and Anissa Marie Myers; and several great grandchildren. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Roy Lee Okorn.
