Francis John "Butch" Caldwell, 74, of Lexington, passed away December 6, 2018 at his home. Funeral service will be Monday, December 10, 2018 at 10:00 am at Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. Visitation for Butch will be Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Dover Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Wellington Napoleon Fire and Rescue.
Butch was born June 30, 1944 in Yakima, Washington to Francis and Doris (Boots) Caldwell. He married Nancy Lenora Saunders on November 15, 1963 in Independence. Butch worked as a maintenance supervisor for Dollins Tool and Dye for 35 years. After retirement, he established Caldwell Machinery and Repair.
Butch is survived by his wife, of the home; daughters, Paula Fry and husband Troy of Macon, Missouri and Amy Arp and Jon Hillis of Centralia, Missouri; grandchildren, Ashley, Sarah, Brittany, Tyler, Aidan Jordyn, Meade, and Blaine; great grandchildren, Anthony, Maddox, Jonah and Evelyn JulieAnn; and sisters, Laura Bybee of Kingsville, Shirley Hines of Independence, and Carolyn Moore of Buckner. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Julie Boland; and sisters, Della Caldwell and Connie Ulrey.
