Frances L. Keller, 89, of Lees Summit, MO passed away Friday, May 20, 2011 at John Knox Village. Frances L. Swafford was born March 10, 1922 in Richmond, MO to Henry and Ina Humbard Swafford. She married William E. Keller on July 17, 1939. Frances was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lexington, MO. She had been a clerk at the Mattingly Bros. Store in downtown Lexington. Mrs. Keller was preceded in death by her husband, William, on December 26, 1993, her parents, brothers, Virgil and Carl, and sisters Elsie and Goldie. Surviving is a daughter, Billie Frances Hulver and husband, Wally, of Lexington and a son Donald L. Keller and wife, Marilyn, of Independence, MO. There are four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 23, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Lexington. Burial in Lexington Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday at the church. Memorials may be made to the music department of the First Baptist Church or donors choice of charity. Casket bearers: Greg Hulver, Jamie Conaty, Brian Conaty, Gretchen Holderness, Todd Holderness, Joshua Keller, and Melissa Keller.
