FRANCES "CORKY" L. CAMPBELL
Frances L. Campbell, 97, of Wellington, MO passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Golden Living Care Center in Odessa, MO.
Frances Campbell was born August 13, 1918 in Wellington to Leon and Lucy Servi Dumas. She married James Kenneth Campbell on July 6, 1938. Corky operated her own hair salon in Wellington for 55 years. She was a member of the Wellington Methodist Church, the Lexington Chapter of the Eastern Star and the Wellington V.F.W. Auxiliary.
Corky is survived by a daughter, Jane Soendker and husband, Arlen, Wellington. A sister, Doris Sims, Richmond, MO. 2 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Corky was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a son, Jimmie, and sisters, Margaret Koch and Nadine Hobson.
Services will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Wellington United Methodist Church. Burial in the Wellington City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, October 28 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington, MO. (660) 259-2245. Memorials can be made to the Kids First Program or the Wellington Methodist Church.
