Ethel Lorene Burchett

Lorene Burchett, 87 years old of Lexington, MO. passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Shirkey Care Center. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Trinity United Church of Christ, Lexington. Visitation for Lorene will be held on Wednesday also from 1pm until service time. Burial will be in Lexington Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Trinity United Church of Christ.

Ethel Lorene Viola Schroer was born on April 23, 1931 to Walter and Delpha Dillon Schroer in Higginsville, MO. She married Charles E. Burchett on May 20, 1951 in Higginsville, MO. Lorene had worked for United Telephone Company for 26 years which is now Century Link Telephone. Lorene was a loving mom, sister, grandmother and great grandmother and loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Lexington.

Survivors include her daughters: Karen Burchett, Kansas City, MO. Carol Danner and husband George, Lexington, Janette Collom, Edwardsburg, MI. There are five grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers, Bob, Carl, Gary and Don Schroer. Lorene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Harold, Edward and Walter, Jr. and two sisters Margee and Barbara.
