Erskine L. Harris

Erskine L. Harris, 79, of Lexington, Missouri passed away December 20, 2022, at Menorah Medical Center in Leawood, Kansas.

Erskine was born on May 15, 1943, in Gadsden, Alabama to JM and Agnes (Cranford) Harris.  On December 3, 1965, he was united in marriage to Ann Frances Renaud in Buffalo, New York.  After 28 years of service, Erskine retired from General Motors in Kansas City.  He then became a Janitor for the Blue Springs School District and retired after ten plus years of service.  Erskine enjoyed taking care of his yard and being outdoors, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family and grandchildren. 

 

Erskine is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ann Harris of Lexington, MO; three children, Brett Harris and wife Julie of Lee’s Summit, MO, Brian Harris and wife Kimberly of Houston, TX and Scott Harris and wife Angela of Lexington, MO; nine grandchildren, Brittany Anthony and husband Travis, Wesley Harris, Nolan Harris, Truman Harris, Maggie Whitlock and husband Alex, Claire Harris, Makayla Harris, Lily Harris, and Max Harris; three great grandchildren, Christian Hurshman, Tristyn Hurshman, and Kai Hurshman; a sister, Brenda Turcharelli of Indianapolis, Indiana; a brother, Don Harris and wife Betty of Grand Island, NY; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.   

 

In addition to his parents, Erskine was preceded in death by a brother, Norm Harris.
